I just purchased my first pinball machine. It is a '73 Bally Time Zone machine. The machine is currently in the freeplay mode and I am trying to set it for coin operation only. Any advice on how to do this would be appreciated.

lots of great info in "Clay's guide"

probably how it was set to free play was closing the contact permanently on the credit stepper

There is a credit unit in the back box which has a reel covered in numbers and a little window through the glass. Somebody either disconnected the decrement coil of closed the switch that is opened at zero position.
