Okay question about the SWITCH cable harness being cleaned in the dishwasher.

Is it okay to put a switch cable harness that contains the plastic Cherry micro-switches in the dishwasher. Will water damage those micro-switches at all?

    Thanks

I just washed a Pinbot harness last week. I always remove the white cherry or the black micro switches. Leaf switches are OK to wash just wrap the switch stacks with painters tape so they don't fall apart. Do NOT heat dry! You will be a sad panda if you do. Also, when done, shake off the harness and make sure you blow out the molex connectors and the switch stacks(spacers) so no standing water is on them. It should come out hot because of the hot water(grab it when it finishes, not 30 minutes after) and any hot metal will evaporate the moister quickly.
