We now have SWEP1 & RFM Mirrors available on-line. Theses mirror are twice the size of a normal pair we sell so
there will be a cost difference.

Chis,

Thanks they do look really nice.

#4 4 years ago

Any RFM pics?

#5 4 years ago

Nope but we have a few orders that went out Friday so I am sure they will pop up soon.

#6 4 years ago

This is my only "must have" mod for every solid state game I ever own. To see your line up, with what appears to be never ending playfields, is truly a beautiful sight. Order placed for my SWEP1, I've been waiting for these for a long time to complete my collection of full blades !!

Mine was in that Friday mailing, gonna look GREAT on my RFM game.

Thanks for all the pics. How was the installation? Tight fit?

#13 4 years ago

Do you make them for Safecracker - does anyone ?

No we do not. We also have to make sure they fit properly. Theses mirrors do not install the way all the other products do, that we sell. This machine does have a tight fit so they must be able to be removed at any moment. Thanks Paul for the photo's they do look great on that game.

They are so tight that it takes some force, (at least with mine on one side) that I didn't think it was going to go down but it did. Not to worry about scratching with the tight fit because what get's scratched is below the pf and is not visible. In a way the slip in nature of them is actually a plus because to lift the pf you must take them out, with the permanent type your always raising and lowering the pf with them in and that can lead to scratches if your not very careful. With these removable ones you don't expose them to this kind of danger. I took my pf out and screwed 2 small screws in the side of the cab to act as a stop so when they are in they rest on the screws so you can't push them down to far when you put them in. To take them out I use a needle nose pliers and pull up the little bit of blade that is over the flipper buttons, don't worry about the little 1/4 in. scuff that puts on the blade because it's under the lock down bar and is not visible. I had a party Sat. night and EVERYONE commented how they really looked sharp on the game and worked soooo well. I was thinking about pinblades but ya know there just isn't any space on the cab sides so I think you'll rip the crap out of them in short order. I'm soooo happy that Pinballside mirrors came out with these, they improved the look of the game 500% if you ask me and they don't effect the monitor at all because they are to low in the plain of view. If I were 1in. tall and looking up at the blades I would see a slight reflection of the monitor because of my perspective.

So buy with confidence, these are great.

Great, let us know how it goes for you and don't forget to install them with clean white gloves on, you know how they fingerprint.

I'm not sure how big the market is for SC side mirrors, but I'd certainly get a set!

Maybe one day we will have a safe Cracker in our hands and can test it. We only build for want we can get our hands on. We have tried in the past to make them for special machines. and found it's really hard to do and very time consuming. We really need the machine on hand to build them. The SWEP1 & RFM took 6 attempt and 3 weeks to do. They have to be fitted to find out what could be problems in the market place. If we did not have this machine on hand we could spend week and a tone of money to see if it's even do able. So that may be a very reason you do not see them yet. Please were wanting SWEP1 & RFM mirrors for a long time. It wasn't until we got the machine to see if it was do able. It's like AMH we know they fit and we need that peace of mind with shipping out a product to a client. We have put them on this machine and laid out the CADs before we fire up our laser cutter.

Really....just send them an email.

#23 4 years ago

Tried to order a set for RFM and a gold mirror set for another BW and both are out of stock. Sent e mail 4 days ago to inquire about another custom set but no answer. Maybe vacation time!

#24 4 years ago

We have stock, I'll make that change. It most likely was updated in the system.

**Update** We showed them in stock so not sure what issues your having. Have a safe and happy 4th.

#25 4 years ago

Just tried again, RFM now shows in stock but gold mirror still show out of stock.

Man that's a bummer, hope ya don't have to pay shipping twice to get your two items.

Not an issue at all, not like it's critical. I'll just wait for them to restock. Got them on most of my machines and they make a great product.

OK, yeah I have their mirrors on 6 of my games now. Love um.

We do not have any Gold in stock and will be a while before we could carry them.

I know I’m resurrecting an old thread but I want to know if I’m placing my order right...

Are the blades really all the same for every Bally table?

Want to make sure the ones I get will work for RFM.

Also what is the difference between black mirrors and regular? Should I wait for the other kind to be back in stock?

Just wanted to say I have not had good luck with these. My order got canceled due to their instock status on their website being incorrect.

And I ordered two playfield protectors from them (AFMR and RFM) and only ever received one.

And now I don’t get responses to my emails since July.

Anyone here had any recent dealings with them?

Wow, sorry to hear that. That would piss me off.

Not pissed. More bummed and concerned.

Bummed about the mirror blades. But I’ll live.

Concerned about the RFM pp because I have no idea if it’s out of stock. Lost in shipping, or if they just don’t care.
