Sweet Hearts
Gottlieb, 1963My Sweet Hearts pinball does not start up. When the replay button on the front door is pushed, only the 'S' relay (start RE) makes. The score motor does not turn. All the fuses are good, the S relay contacts have been cleaned, and the game is set on free play. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
IMG_0253 (resized).JPGIf you look on the schematic you posted on the right hand side just below “bank setup” you will see “ on ball release”. If you lift your playfield and look at the coil that releases the balls there should be 3 sets of switches it activates. The middle set controls the startup. Make sure that they are closed and clean.

You nailed it pinhead52! The 24V line had an open circuit. Thanks a million! I'm a novice and would have been looking in the wrong places for the fix if you hadn't pointed me in the right direction. From one Texan to another--thanks again!
