Stopped in one of our local pawn shops and seen a Card Whiz setting there. Price was 400,
"used to work but quit all of a sudden" they said.
(See the pic I took there and you can spot the issue of why as I did.)
This thing has the back door, original keys, coin mechs, the coin box and all the paperwork!

I'm guessing that first score reel wasn't fully resetting?

Or was it just out of credits?? Or because it was turned off? Unplugged? No ball???

#4 6 years ago

Looks like no credits

Quoted from MrArt2u:

Or was it just out of credits??

Yup. It was loaded with credits when it first came in..

Great find! Love my Royal Flush

These bg's are usually toast, you got a nice one. (I need one for my project)

Yes BG is very nice, playfield has a few issues but love it for the money and it was 2 miles from me. That NEVER happens, I always have to drive 150 miles to get something it seems. The glass was covered in dust as seen in first pics. Hour or so of cleaning it up she plays pretty good.

Nice find!

I hear you on the traveling. It's nice to find these close in town!

That playing field looks spotless! Seal that glass before she goes to crap!

Did you give their price or talk them down? I still would try to get it for less.

Nice find and fun game. I also saw the 0 credits.

Must mean they gave the guy $100 on the pawn .

Wanted 500.........offered 400

Man! What a deal! I snagged a Royal Flush for $300 locally, also with a near perfect backglass, BUT my playfield bonus area has a bunch of paint loss... you got the best of both worlds. Enjoy! It's a fantastic title.

You found a good deal in Iowa?
I think you'll like that machine. I really like my RF, and it isn't as nice as your Card Whiz.
