Is something supposed to secure the lightsaber in place? Mine has two straps holding it in place, but it still slides front/back of the playfield.

Also when is the thing supposed to come on?
Also anyone know the size nut that secures that one green ground wire to the monitor frame? I can't get the bolt out of that clasp ring holder and the nut is missing.

When you launch a ball

If it don't work at all U35 on driver is dead

Definitely not necessarily U35. You need to first confirm power going to the Lightsaber transformer, that the transformer is working, and that the neon tube is good. You can do all of this by momentarily grounding the black wire (brown w/ white stripe going into the first connector) going into the transformer plug. If the Lightsaber lights, then yes, follow a board issue, if not, you have other issues as listed here.

I was so tired when I picked it up that I didn't even pay attention to if it was working when I played a game on it.

Thanks for the info if it doesn't work I will try those. Have to find a nut for this bolt to ground the monitor first before anything.

There is some double sided foam tape that should secure it underneath the lightsaber handle where it touches the apron.

My straps were cracked and not secure so I also added a one inch strip of double sided foam tape beneath the tube where the straps go around it as well and so now it is very secure.

Pictures pictures lol

Update: Got the monitor ground done last night and verified that the light saber is actually working. Now to get some double sided tape and wait for the leg plate to come in!

I was thinking of using velcro so it could still be semi-removable and I have a ton of it.

Thanks for the pics it looks like my idea will work.

Yep good plan, Velcro should work great. And if it's black then you wouldn't even notice it. I may do that lol
