    I like Vid's total rebuilding steps, make everything tight as a drum again. All the slop is from the worn fiber link. With a conversion with or without DC then you won't be sure how close the resulting power will be to the originals, plus probably changing the original stroke and 'up' angle of the flippers.

    With FD's targets low and on the sides like that, in 30 years I've only broken one or maybe two with the factory flippers. The lowest targets on the banks would probably survive until the Sun bloats up and swallows Earth.
