Curious. I have a sluggish flipper on my Bally PAC-Man. Could I swap it out for a 1976 Williams flipper while awaiting my rebuild kit? I’m talking coil and shit, not actual plastic flipper.

No relation between the two, sadly. Mechs are completely different, and the coils are designed for different voltages. Williams coil would probably destroy whatever it hit

Copy that. Appreciate the help and insight.

You could as a temporary fix check to make sure there is no gap in the EOS switch next to the flipper coil. If that isn’t tight and clean you’ll get sluggish flippers. You can even lightly file it on the contacts to help get a better connection.

I use Gottlieb A 5141 coils on the 2 Wizards! I currently own. It’s a great upgrade. Installed both of them at least 5 years ago for the right flippers. Takes a little EOS adjustment but they really work great.
