I have been using the Happ combo .984 token/quarter mech's in both my video and pinball games for over 10 years. I use .984 tokens mostly but sometimes I'll put a quarter in a game. They fit most games but the old Bally/Midway coin slots you may have to file the coin slot a little wider as .984 tokens are a little bigger than quarters but that's not a problem. I did run into a problem with my new Stern Star Trek LE pinball. Wile the combo coin mech's fit as they do use a Happ coin door, they don't work because Stern doesn't know how to make the front of their cabinet so the coin mech sets level in the door. When the game is set at it's proper angel for game play the coin mech is tilted at too much of an angle which causes the tokens to run straight though into the coin return so for now it's the only game I have on free play till I find a fix to Sterns design flaw.
