Sometimes when I get the death satr tri-ball, I hit the ball into the death star and it doesnt give me the tri ball and it does a ball check then shoots it out the R2-D2 ramp. Any ideas???

See if you can get to it from under the playfield first before taking it apart it
under the death star.

Check the switches at the circled locations below. If the VUK fires when a ball falls into the hole up by the pop bumpers, then the VUK switch (leftmost in the pic) most likely isn't the problem.
