I'm well are that lightning will kill electronic devices during a storm so I always unplug such things, but I still have more sensitive devices like video game consoles and computers plugged into surge protectors just to keep them safe from random line surges or the power fluctuations from other power hungry devices in the house turning on or off such as the furnace or the clothes dryer.
My quick question is: Are pinball machines sensitive enough to power fluctuations that pugging them into surge protectors would be a good idea for everyday use, or is plugging them straight into the wall good enough?
