This sounds like a known timing problem (original engineering flaw) that has been documented on a few multi-player Gottlieb games. Do some research here and on RGP. You will find the issue concerns the scoring lock out switch on the motor and one other I think. I had this on my QD. Not hard to remedy once you know what to do.
I had a similar problem with a Gottlieb Surf Champ about 18 years ago. The machine would always add 300 to one of the players during the start game/reset process. I had to do a wiring modification to one of the switch stacks to resolve the problem. This wasn't the right way to resolve the problem, but the machine has been working properly ever since... I'll check on RGP if someone figured out the correct way to fix this problem...

They ALL do this.
There's really nothin you can do. It's an issue on Quick Draws.

No they don't ☺ I owned a Quick Draw for a couple of years and it didn't exhibit this problem.

It can be fixed, just tricky. I managed to get two QD to stop doing this. As I said, do the research. There are several good threads out there that offer clues to where to look. Sorry I can't be more specific. It's been a few years since I've worked on one.
There is a "hack" to alleviate this problem. I had it on the Team-EM site, but I have to figure out what went wrong with my domain.

I'm afraid that our old Team-EM site is going to be too tough to resurrect. Luckily, I still have all the source.
I moved the "hack" that you need into the PinWiki. You'll find it here:
http://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=EM_Repair#Hacking_a_Fix_for_Quick_Draw.2FFast_Draw_Scoring
Let us know how it works out for you. I can tell you that I've used this exact procedure on two FD games and it works perfectly. Thanks to Steve Charland, the original inventor of the hack.

Just read it and understand the hack 100% ,need to order a switch and longer screws for the p relay , who stocks this switches and longer screws.is there a part number for those switches used on the relays
Quoted from Raff:who stocks this switches and longer screws.is there a part number for those switches used on the relays
Well, here in the US, the "go to" guy is Steve Young at www.pbresource.com
See: http://www.pbresource.com/pfswitch.htm#common
But it's easier to scavenge the part from a parts game. The longer screws can be found at good hardware stores. They are 4-40 screws.

Usually this issue shows up in the later GTB 4 player games. I was reading this thread with a smile, it's good to see that some of my EM hacks from the "good old days of RGP" still live on. I was beginning to think that I was going to have to dig through all of my schematics to find and post this hack again. Thanks to Chris for keeping the flame alive for everyone to use.

I'd been meaning to move the Team-EM stuff over for quite some time. Raff's post got me off my duff.
Reading back on this "hack", it's a great hack. Nice work Steve.
I still have the source for your Lucky Hand WOW hack too. I'll get that up on PinWiki soon. The "translation" to the Wiki markup language wasn't as tedious as I'd thought it would be.
