Looks like it's getting ready to roll off the factory line in August 1976.

Frickin beautiful!

Very jealous. Just got my surfer working but it looks nothing like this. Amazing detailed work!!

Thank you all guys for the uplifting vibes ....
Will post final pics with plastics and apron soon .

The real challenge is finding a way to sneak in a new EM Resto project , making my wife think that it is the same on going restoration !

Managed to finish the apron and ball shooter cover. It is the first time I use decals for these two. Both were in terrible condition so it was the most convenient way to go.
Used " hamerite" white spay for the base coat. It is an all in one rust Inhibitor , primer and paint.

Moved everything into the playfield. There are are some minor problems with the game. One of the Drop targets tends to stick , making the game keep scoring continually. Will replace springs as soon as I get some new drop target plastics. One star roll over occasionally sticks , easily fixed.
Other than that the game plays beautifully.
In the future I will restore the cabinet of surf champ along with the ones of fast draw and robo war . In the mean time I MUST find another em playfield to keep me busy

My goodness, that is absolutely beautiful. Thank you again for posting all of your work and the pictures, I know I said it before but its worth saying again - it really means a lot to me to be able to see your work, and all of the pictures and details how you did everything. And the final product is just fantastic. This is an inspiration.
