Only companies that have more than $100,000 in sales have to collect the State sales taxes, so ebayer are probably OK.
But companies that sell pinball machines are going to get sacked....

Quoted from toyotaboy:Amazon already collects tax, is their tax rate going to go up though? I know Trump has a beef with jeff bezos.
That's why no one buys from Amazon any more.
There are 50 places that are cheaper than Amazon, let alone the taxes they collect on top.
If the Canon camera I buy is $6000 at Amazon, B&H and Adorama - I'd be an idiot to by it on Amazon and pay an extra $480 in taxes.
Oregon, Alaska, Delaware, Montana and New Hampshire are going to make a fortune in drop shipping expensive items, lol.......
Quoted from delt31:ugh - everyone buys from amazon.
I saw my neighbor had a 50 lb bag of popcorn delivered on his porch.
When he got home I asked him about it (you know how much popcorn I eat).
Vid: That's a lot of popcorn!
Neighbor: Yeah, I got a real popcorn machine, like you see at the bar!
V: Nice. I got one too.
N: Really??? I though I was the only person who would actually buy a machine.
V: How much was that popcorn?
N: Cheap! Only $60 on Amazon, delivered free, cause my wife has a Prime.
V: Shlt, that seems like a lot of money for popcorn, is it special?
N: Golden Giant, the big stuff.
V: You know that same bag is $21 at the concession supply shop on West Road...
N: 50 pounds???
V: Yep.
N: How could they be cheaper than Amazon???
V: Because they are not Amazon. Hell, even GFS has those bags for $27.
N: Wait till I tell my wife!
V: Don't tell her, she will probably send it back and raise Amazon's pricing even more.
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:and with the new tax bill we can't even write it off anymore.
That's the part people have not figured out yet.
It won't sink in until next April.....
Quoted from benheck:You can't turn EVERY empty building into a brewery
True.
The rest you can turn into pot shops .
Ebay has a petition against the tax.
Let Trump and Congress know what you think:

Quoted from TigerLaw:Apologies for what is probably a silly question, but is there a sales tax applied when buying a floor model machine? Does being a floor model make the items simply used and a second hand purchase?
I’m fairly confident the answer is the sales tax would still apply since it is from a retailer but perhaps that is not always the case in every state? I’ve never bought a used machine from a retailer so please pardon my ignorance in asking the question.
Even used items incur the sales tax.
Think of a used car, or a used guitar at Guitarcenter.
Quoted from o-din:Well said. Because of this Compton is well on it's way to becoming the next Beverly Hills!

STRAIGHT INTO COMPTON
Straight into Compton, crazy motherfuckers just movin' in
No more gangs, just suburbanites Wit Attitudes wavin' fins
Now that their marked off, dead trees gettin' sawed-off
Sweeping up the streets and bodies are hauled off
You too, boy, don't you move in next to me
Now police are gettin' called when I go outside to take a pee
Crackers comin' in, that's why I'm getting out
For another motherfuckin' Starbucks that's showing out
As I leave, believe I'm stompin'
But I won't be back boy, cuz they movin' straight into Compton
