Quoted from MustangPaul:Very nice. That looks like my powder coated wireforms. Then.... .MORE GREEN....MORE GREEN.
Thank you. Your wireforms look really nice also.
Im trying to make up my mind on what color i should paint the siderails, legs, ect...
Geen, purple or blue is what I can't decide on.
I love the green led strips on your ramps!!! What did you use? If you don't mind me asking
Quoted from hd60609:I've seen a deep purple and it looks pretty good. Blue might look great. I can't stop thinking what gloss black might look like... I'm thinking "Nice"!
Never thought of gloss black. Probably would look really good. Now I'm even more undecided lol.
Quoted from MustangPaul:I have Candy blue lolly pops on mine, looks great with my blue Leg Light-Ups, blue light up flipper buttons, beatmasters blue gun shooter housing light up and my custom clear rgb light up shooter gun handle. The bottom strip in the picture that I got on ebay. You have to use super glue gel to glue them on. This is what beatmasters light up looks like with clear plastic bolts.
Those thin strips look so good on the ramps. I think I'm going to have to get some of those. Really brightens up the game. I was also thinking of putting a spotlight behind the Batsighn on the rear plastic panel.
This game has a ton of mod possibilities... I was just looking at some of the ones you did to yours and I am blown away, your game looks awesome!!! Thanks for posting all your work
Quoted from MustangPaul:I think the strips were 90 or 120 cm long, measure your ramps to be sure. Look at the pictures of the strips on ebay you can easly see the difference between those strips and the wide strips. The narrow strips will read 30cm 30 led, 45cm 45 led, 60cm 60 led etc. They can also be cut every 3 leds. They are 12v also. I put a spotlight behind the Bat sign also, not easy to do but doable. I also did this to my Bat Plane using those led strips. Looks great I think and this to this sign to light it up. This is how I powered all (and there are a lot of 12v mods on my BF) of my 12v mods.
Thanks for the info about the strips. Thats my favorite mod I've seen on BM so far.
The light behind the Arkham Asylum sign looks sweet also, they should have done that from the factory.
Bat Plane mod is very cool. Did you cut a piece of plexy glass and put it on the bottom to get that effect?
I have been wondering what I was going to use to power all my extra lights. I was looking for a DK8 but can't find one. I don't know if he's still making them. Any other ideas without tapping into the board?
I had a few laser cut cuz I thought people would buy them and add their own color led strips like I did.
Do you still have any left? I would buy one if you do.
PBL sells them $25. The part # is 600-0060-00 I have one (because of all my 12v mods) in all my games. I take out the coin box and put a small 6 outlet strip that has an on/off switch in it's place and plug the 3 amp wall wort into that. Just open the coin door, flick the strip switch and all my 12v mods turn on. Doing that really saves your old or new game power boards.
Thanks for all the info, I really appreciate your help
Quoted from MustangPaul:Yes I do, I have a few. I also have the led strips, what color would you like, 2 are needed. I like the red cuz it makes the Bat plane look mean and it adds another color to the pf and I'll include a small male and female connector that will feed through a small pf hole by the plane and a wired 3 pin female Molex connector for plugging into that 8 way power splitter, $30 shipped. It has no led strips in it. I can help you with the finished design to make it light up brighter.
That sounds great. What color led strips do you have?
Quoted from MustangPaul:Red, blue, green, purple, amber and white. That's the choice for my Leg Light-Ups too.
Pm sent
Few other things I also painted. Lime Green metal flake and Purp-fection Purple metal flake. "The camera doesn't capture the flake very well, it sparkles like crazy".
Thanks Paul
Yes, I've been working in the auto repair business since I was 15.
I put 6 coats of clear over the flake, then the next day I wet sanded with 1500 grit sandpaper and gave it all one more coat if clear. It gave the flake crazy looking depth
I'm almost ready for some Leg Light-Ups. I will be contacting you soon
Quoted from MustangPaul:I knew looking at the pictures you were a Pro. Pinsider beatmaster makes a gun shooter housing light up for the game, I have it on my game and it really compliments my mod perfectly. I even have clear plastic bolts for yours if you choose to get his mod. The bolt heads light up great because of his mod, I have them on my game too. Here's a picture of his mod but without the clear plastic bolts.
Beatmasters shooter housing is a must lol. I'm also going to put some led strips behind the speaker grills, then try and figure out what I'm going to do for a topper.
Quoted from Colsond3:That gun looks freaking awesome!
Thank you..
I wasn't sure if it would look good but I think it looks much better than a plain black gun.
