I love the Superman films (okay, IV not so much)!
They have some clunky elements (Clark bangs Lois on a silver bean bag for Christ’s sake), but the performances, music and tone are genuinely sincere.
With Franchi on the art, I can almost see this game already. Count me in!

Both great. I would rank Moore’s ‘The Killing Joke’ up there. I remember where I was when I read that. A total game changer.
Superman Returns was actually pretty good. I thought Brandon Routh was perfect, but his dialogue wasn’t the greatest.
Kevin Smith said it best. “Superman doesn’t punch anybody. How the fuck can Superman not punch anybody?”
I don’t like Henry Cavill as the new Superman. He sure punches everybody, but he’s not a fun character. He’s mopey and depressed about being Superman FFS.
