For me, the iconic image of Superman is by Alex Ross, not Christopher Reeve.

It's more of a throwback to the 1930's, squinty-eyed look of the Max Fleischer cartoons & the original comics. The brawn & huskiness of his over-sized large frame. That elder-aged face that reflects wisdom, virtue, and the responsibility of carrying the burdens of the world on his shoulders. One look at that face & you can see the depth going on inside. Kingdom Come is still one of my favorite graphic novels of all time.

With that said, if this pin does happen, you can bet it will be a Kapow licence, with Christopher Reeves Franchi art based on the slot machine/early films. Nothing wrong with that either, as there's a lot of cool stuff they can do with this theme.

If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it

    Quoted from Methos:

Those were the Fleshier studios and they put a shit load of money into them. They were very well done.

I would argue that the Fleshier Superman shorts are the finest cartoons ever made. Period. Absolutely gorgeous animation & production value. Since they are in the public domain now, I'm not sure if any studio would take the time/money to remaster them, but they certainly deserve it.

The Mad Scientist episode really stands out for me. Especially when Superman pulls down the walls of Scientist's lab & twists the Death Ray into a knot. You can just tell they spent a fortune making them. Awesome stuff.

Yeah I always wanted to see this documentary about that failed production. Safe to say casting Nicolas Cage as Superman was one of the worst ideas ever.

Cage sure is a Superman superfan though. Named his son Kal-El. That's pretty hardcore. Haha

Oh Kevin Smith wrote the script? That’s icing on the cake. Would have been worst movie ever then. Can’t stand that toolbox.
