I designed a second removal tool after that one that doesn't need the extra clamp and is a little easier to use. It's a modified clamp to help remove the players. The biggest issue with getting the players out is that the newer washers flex in the slot and bind on the player shaft. If you can hold the washer down flat the player comes out with a lot less force.
