Well I don't know if 41 is that old...but I've been involved a long time.
I guess instead of being old and thinking normal rubber is fine & cheap, I could thnk Yellow florescent colors are really amazing and impressive. But yeah, I lived through the 80s so it's really not that exciting to me.

Black rubber is much more prone to making a mess everywhere. I'd just go with White rubber from marco and standard red flipper rubber. Very easy to clean.
