has anyone tried the superband mini sized bands on AC/DC premium ? I think Stern's spec. for them is 1" x 1/2" and the only size I see superband offer in a mini is 1 1/4 " x 1/2 so I'm guessing they would be too big

I need to replace one of the mini-post rubbers on my lower playfield. Has anyone used the super band versions on their game?
Quoted from McCune:I have super bands on my lower pf, have fun installing them !
Right on ! so I am assuming you installed the 1 1/4 x 1/2 ones ? if they were that tight then they must not be too large after all
The 1 1/4" Super-Bands work on the AC/DC mini playfield. Install the fat end (shaft end) first and push with both thumbs over the flipper tip.

I have the Super mini posts on most of my games where they are called for...They rock and don't wear like the original rubber rings.
I also have the Super Mini Flipper Rubbers on all my games that have mini flippers (Have Super Bands on all my games no matter which size)...same response they rock!! They are not that difficult to install just like Joe says...

Yup, they work great, I replaced all the topside ones in red as well. Very lively and fast!
I did red superbands on all 4 flippers (looks like a fiery orange when lit up) and clear mini post superband rubbers. All from Pinball Life. Luckily I haven't had any issues with my targets sliding to the side and getting stuck on the rubber like I've seen reports of.
The mini playfield is a pain to work on. Don't forget to catch the ball when removing it like I did. Also be careful when setting it down after taking it off (don't want to put too much pressure on connections) and have a helper to get it back on. Hopefully with the superbands it will stay clean down there and I won't have to take it off again for a very long time.
Now if only I could fix my SDTM issue from the bumpers...
