I recently picked up a Sonic Super Straight. The drive motor unit from the score motor had been removed. The seller provided me with a Williams motor for the machine but wasn't sure if it worked.

After some testing that motor does not appear to work.

Does anyone know what the part # is for the correct motor that should go on the machine?

The Williams motor doesn't turn, or it's not compatible with the sonic mech?

It doesn't turn.... plus I'm not sure it's the correct one. Not sure what the correct RPM should be.

According to my manual, it's a 14A-7884 originally, which seems to match up with williams part numbers. PBR can probably repair it

Okay, the one I've got appears to be a 14A- 7883.

Ah, that appears to be the 60hz equivalent of the 7884. So more proper for US operation. PBR even sells new ones if you prefer that to trying to get it repaired. I'd double check with Steve to make sure, but that motor sounds like it should work
