Hey,

I completed a SMB restoration.

New wrap around decals, playfield overlay, and hundreds of parts.

Came out pretty decent considering how it looked beforehand.

I have one extra part. I hope someone can tell me where it goes.

Thanks

Wow, it looks great compared to where it started off.

Could it go behind the hole by the princess? (Middle top right) I was just looking at a picture of a blank playfield and there are not a lot of places that 2 screws would be that close together.

Hey,

Thanks for your quick response. Could you be more specific?
I think it goes somewhere near the popbumpers...

This looks like a likely candidate: https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2435&picno=68732 is your clear plastic mounted between the pops?

You’re my hero!!!!

Would have never suspected it there.

Not sure if it’s function either...

Many Thanks

Looks like it's there to prevent ball strikes against the underside of the ramp.

Where did you get that high res playfield image? Is it a vector drawing or scan?

It‘s a scan...

Due to the large number of PM questions I’m going to create a new thread called:

@bingopodcast

Thanks again, you were absolutely correct. The protective plastic went between two pop bumpers and on top of two double posts.

Installation completed

Many Thanks!!!!!
