Any SMB Mushroom World owners know if the DL-1275 Deltronic ticket dispenser will work as a replacement for the stock DL-4-SS Deltronic ticket dispenser that came with the machine? My dispenser has never worked (despite the previous owner saying it did), and I am wanting to replace it. My connector from the backboard doesn't match the DL-1275, but I can repin it if it will work.
The original unit was a "pulse" unit, I know that for sure. Suzo Happ has this on its site in the description of the DL-1275 "DL-4-P-S and DL-4-S-S has been combined into one unit". While I wouldn't buy it new, there are plenty of used ones available for a decent price. I just don't want to pull the trigger on an item that won't work.
Thoughts?

Do you know if it's the control board or motor on yours that doesn't work? If it's the motor you could swap the board from yours to a DL-1275. The motor is 12v so it should be easy to test.
Does anyone know what the difference is between the flipper rebuild kits available for SMB? As far as I can tell the only difference is the coil stop. Are the coil stops cross compatible at all, or are they completely different? They look very similar based on the pics on PBR.

I went this route, no changing of molexes. Turns out it was the motor. Works great now, it's a much better game in ticket mode.

Yep, I saw that. I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between the different kits. How is the kit for serial 90500 different from the one for 90502?

Looks great. How did you make the flippers?
Quoted from latenite04:Looks great. How did you make the flippers?
I used orginal ones. Made a silikon mold negativ. And then used a shockproof epoxy. Actual im testing them but they work well so far.
IMG_20201222_183422.jpgNeed help!
Hoping anyone can give a pretty clueless person some help. I found a wire broken off under the left flipper coil. I looked at the right flipper coil to compare it and it appeared to be from the left tab which only had 1 wire on it. The right coil had two wires on the left tab, 1 wire on the middle tab, and 2 wires on the right tab. I soldered the wire onto the the left tab on the left coil. I turned the game on and the flippers work great. However after the first ball drains, the game will load 2 balls, then plunge them. After they drain, it will feed 1 ball then after that drains, repeat the double ball feed. I posted pictures of the left coil, right coil and video of the double feed.
Did I F%*@ up the game with the wrong wire solder or is this something unrelated? Any idea where to start?

PXL_20210108_032801833 (resized).jpgsuper mario pinball (resized).jpgso did a questionblock ligth cap on my sla printer.
for those how are intrested can download the file here:

So befor I painted the inner part of the cabinet I did some cutout for these Led strip.
Now to break the ligth I have to put over some transparent tupe.
As next step I would like to cover it with spionglass. The picture shows just a test acrylglass with spionfoil.
Is anyone having the messurment from a Supermario bros sidebladesticker for me?
I could measure it but with the angle it isn't that easy. Happy for any help
Quoted from setzkor:Looks nice! Though I'm not sure if I would go a matching transparent blue, or the classic red.
That would be intressting but i thougth it would get to dark if the ligth couldnt shine thru.
I'm still working on getting the look I want out of your question block. I think print in white with a transparent yellow will work. Unfortunately the masking (liquid frisket) I tried was not the greatest. I'm gonna try another hand painted rather than sprayed and see how it looks.
Thanks again for all the work you are sharing on this title!

Wow you printed it with a FDM printer.
Looks great!
Does this worked well?
Im also still not happy with the coloring.
give me some time maybe I can make it a 2 part pieces, I have some ideas.
Yes, FDM. I printed in opaque white and then sprayed a transparent yellow acrylic (createx) while masking off the Question Mark. As you can see in the photo, the masking was not great (the globs of dark yellow are unremoved masking I believe). However, I think the color when lit up looks pretty good. Note, that photo is taken above a cellphone "flashlight" to illuminate. If I had splurged for the multi-color Prusa I'm sure I would be set , as is, I have some painting to figure out!

the flame of the omb is very smal and detaild so i do not think it works on fdm printer.
It has the hole on the bottom so you could only putt it over the screwcap.
lett me know if soething does not work.
Awesome, I'll check it out. In the meantime I test fit the ones I had already done. With the warp pipes, I had forgot how insanely bright these things are. As such, you can't make out any of the issues I was concerned about when on. In fact...

Hello, I'm looking for the 2 green ramps in Nos. Does anyone have anything to sell? Greetings Markus
Hi guys. My buddy just bought a SMB, he doesn’t think it has the correct size legs.
Can someone confirm the right size for me?
Thanks

For anyone who may be interested I started coloring Mushroom World for Pin2DMD.

I finished up my Yoshi block flasher cover. I have a link to the files on thingiverse in the mod thread.

In the printing, I ended up printing enough for a second complete piece. If an owner in this thread wants it, post a pic of your game (first posted pic wins) and shoot me a PM with your address and I'll send it your way. What you see in the pic is what you would get...some assembly and painting required...

Sry for my long time not writing.
Working on stuff for my Jurassic Park and was about to sell my Mario. Lucky I decided to keep it.
Happy to hear that you like these. They Are only installable with flat led ligths.
They are printed on a resin Printer.
If the intresst is there I am willing to share the files.
Would someone mind posting their flipper brackets/pawls? It looks like mine were installed upside down. Also, when searching out the correct part # from the manual for rebuilds, it looks like they are sold out. Are the ones that ARE available confirmed compatible?
Thanks!

I just rebuilt my flippers last week. It was easy, the kit was complete (less coils). PBR has all of the Gottlieb ones. Below is a link to the one for SMMW, but I think the SMB one is the same.

Did you have a hard time getting the flipper posts out and subsequently back into the assembly arm?

Your machine looks really really clean, I wouldn't mod it up too much. Color display, inner wall decals...looks great already.
By the way, my family and I love Utrecht, I used to go there for work. Such a fun city, even with kids. The train museum was awesome!

I agree, that's a great looking game, fortunately the flasher cover is completely reversible as it utilizes the existing flasher push pins for install. Take off the stock, put on Yoshi, take off whenever you want.
Looking closer, I really like those color matched post covers near the pops to match the warp pipes on the playfield. Someone took good care of that one for sure. Nice find!
Real nice one listed near me on FB Marketplace. Perfect condition with great mods, bit it's $8,000. Worth it?

Never seen one sell that high personally...
Is it 4800 dollars nicer than the one that just popped up on pinside marketplace? Though I would expect that one doesn't last long...
