Continually soak the edge with lighter fluid and slowly take a plastic razor blade to it keeping the edge saturated with lighter fluid as you cut the adhesive away. See how that does for one.

Either approach will be relatively innocuous to the paint. The freeze spray only needs to focus on the mylar. The lighter fluid/naptha can be done little by little to see if you get good results. If the glue responds/loosens it will be acceptable. If the glue does not loosen you may have a bigger issue. There will be other materials to try to get the adhesive loose if the naptha doesn't work.
Both ways are easy. Both can be tried in small doses to see if they work before going to town.
