Thought I'd post this since I haven't seen a restore of a Super-Flite (2 Player) or Strato-Flite (4 Player) EM.
Bought this for $85 bucks.

This is my first EM to rebuild. -should be interesting.
So the first thing is to take out the PF and start with the cabinet. The lead paint is just falling off the cabinet, all I needed was a scraper.

Thanks, my apron lost it's colors, I doubt I'm going to try to repaint them. I've already created the stencils for the game or else I'd ask you for photos!

First is the paint. I bought a new Wood Filler to use instead of the ole Bondo. In my experience, it's best to try to get rid of all the wood grain you can. It's really easy with Wood Filler and a metal paint scraper. Dries quick and sands smooth. I'm using the Harbor Freight purple paint gun for the blue and spray can for the white and light blue.

Then, time to work on stencils. For this I'm using tracing paper and clear shelf contact paper from Walmart. I'm tracing the artwork that was left and using a projector to trace images from my laptop. This isn't a high-end restore folks!

In this shot, I covered the cab with contact paper and traced the artwork onto it. LB light blue, DB dark blue and W for white of course

Someone made a table from a Strato-Flite BG. I snagged it from a local CL ad and put it in this pin. Not the Super-Flite 2player BG, but it works!
