So I am in process of running some super bowl pools and I am surprised at how many people lately are looking at me like I a am crazy when I ask if they want to buy in. I have always played in Super Bowl Pools since I was a young boy and I think they are a lot of fun. I thought almost everyone plays in them but I guess I was wrong.

I even have a free pool going
Free= this is for our company winner gets $250 (when I went to have people sign up for free so many people did not know what I was talking about)

I am having some other low stakes Pools going and am having problems filling. I thought this would be easy to fill.

So do you play in Pools? Anything crazy you have seen or been involved in?

My dad tells me stories of $10k pool back in the day, winner take all. I don’t know if I believe that is real, but if so must have been insane.

    Quoted from fiberdude120:

Where my friend worked they had a 10k pool. I can tell you that the people that worked there didnt need the money win or lose.

Man who holds the money? Does the winner just get a briefcase with a million bucks in it?

I am having problems filling a $10 a square pool. Lol

I guess I have wrong friends

    Quoted from Electrocute:

The best numbers are 0,3 and 7. Followed by 4 , 6 and 9. Worst are 1,2,5,8. You pretty much know what your chances are once you learn what numbers you draw. I always got crappy numbers and never one. There was one Super Bowl where there was no scoring in the second quarter and the numbers in the 4th were the same as the 1st. Someone won 3 quarters. Would of been 2004-2006. One of those.

The two point conversion has changed this somewhat. Before the implementation of the two point conversion, is you had a 5 of a 2 you were in tough shape.
