Todd at TNT just mentioned the Gottlieb flipper ring size issue on one of the last videos he did. He mentioned increased playfield wear/ mylar damage as really the upper lip of the ring causes the ball to be driven downward as the ball is shot. If they are not the correct size band I would not use.
