I just bought a used one off of ebay for $35. Will see here soon if it makes a difference.

a line conditioner like this one and how effective is it for WPC resets?

Unless your voltage from the wall is fluctuating a line conditioner will do nothing for your resets.

I know when my air conditioning kicks on it does and I'm sure voltage as a whole during the summer is lower from the higher power demand in general, for $35 it's worth a shot.

I skip the line conditioner and go straight to a CyberPower UPS. But that's because the line power in my neighborhood is craptacular.

What UPS are you using that performs the function of a line conditioner?

For WPC games, that are over 20 years old now, I would first replace BR2 and C5, then check all driver board connectors and replace all that look burned or feel loose.

If you suspect low line voltage is causing resets, then connect a meter to that and record voltage readings over some time.
