Quoted from latenite04:

Is it possible that the locknut is too tight making it flex against the ball guide?

was going to say the same. and if that doesnt do it, try taking it off and giving a slight hand bend. exhaust the simple fixes before busting out heat guns and all the extreme stuff.

Quoted from gdonovan:

Flattening plastics with a heat gun should be in any pinheads skillset.
Easy as pie, I have done dozens of them. I have two chunks of heavy mirror from work I use for "pressing" but smaller stuff I just sweep into the middle of a hardcover book for 5 minutes.

i didn't say it was difficult. i said it's extreme. it also assumes everyone who owns a pinball machine also owns a heat gun and 2 heavy sheets of spare glass or mirror. and in light of it being a brand new plastic that is likely only bending due to an over-torqued nut or a minor warp, it can probably be easily be fixed by hand.
