So I tried to wire in 12v LED strips, but I'm maxed out on power and keep blowing the fuse.

Next logical step is to wire in a supplemental 12v power supply for the LEDs.

Questions:

How do I wire it into the game so I powers on/off with the game? The auxiliary receptical is always hot.

What 12v supply do you recommend?

Observations:
I can see black and white wires going from the Line Filter Assembly (houses on/off switch) to the WPC Transformer. Can I simply install a receptical between the 2 parts and it will be powered/hot when the game is switched on?

This is the power supply I used for the colorized pin2DMD I installed last week in my Street Fighter II.

My auxiliary had one receptacle that was always hot & one that would only begin working once the pin was turned on.

Hope this helps....

Pop open the power distribution box, wire the service outlet to be hooked up to the main power switch.
Boom, switched outlet, plug a wall wart and never worry again!

Those two wires are where I pick up switch controlled 120 volts AC for dollar bill acceptors.

If you unsolder the black wire from the service outlet and connect it to the black wire on the switch that leaves the metal box.

This is more than enough.

CFTBL kept blowing the F116 Fuse. Running the Mike D mod and Color DMD. Purchased the plug in adapter for the Mike D mod Monitor, modified the pinball service plug to turn on when the game is turned on and done!! The only change was to the service outlet wiring in the machine. Black wire had to be routed directly to the black wire after the plug. I just used electrical wire nuts for the two slices and game is once again happy!!
