In our local League comp we use to have one "novelty" game each round .
Some of the ways to play included :
- Cross-handed ( ie. right hand must stay on left flipper button and vice versa ) . Sounds easier than it is !
- Tommy mode - sheet of cardboard covering flippers for the entire game .
- Reverse Tommy mode - where the top 3/4 of the playfield glass is covered by a towel and only the flippers and about 4" above them is visible .
- A funny one to watch was "reverse flippers" like the TSPP mode . The machine was hard wired so that the flipper buttons corresponded to the opposite side flipper .
