I'm in need of a 3k ohm 5% resistor.
I don't have that in stock...so...

Can I safely install either a 3.5k ohm 5% or 1 2k ohm 5% resistor.

This is going on the 40 pin "daughter board" that connects the Gottlieb system 80B CPU to the 7 pin power supply connector

Disregard this post...I found the 3K ohm resistor I needed..

Use the 3.5k. Just outside of the tolerance, but generally not critical at all.

What caused the original resistor to fail?
