Quoted from turbo20lbs:

Had a small handgun for years, then dedcided I wanted more all a sudden, no idea why.

Quoted from mcluvin:

As long as it wasn't voices in your head, it's cool.

Hush, hush
I thought I heard her calling my name now

Do we need music, or do we just buy it anyway?

You need to blast Don't Bring Me Down by ELO on it.

Priest Point of Entry up 1st. Bass sounds small, then I remembered I was listening to a metal album from 1981. Treble is not bad at all. Mids a little high, again, Priest in 81. Sounds pretty good, and loud.
Bass test...Pimp C and now these little guys are MOVIN. Impressive for Walmart. Not as loud as I was expecting but seems to have some kind of distortion control for high volume which was surprising.
Overall, so far so good. This doesn't have HK clarity or CV bass, but for the price makes it tough to beat. It's pretty loud.

Another container load of pins in the second half of the year.

Stupid as I still have a dozen projects to go from the last lot.

Did you try anything that has true sub-bass?

SKisM - Power Of Ra

#108 6 years ago

Not yet. My wife's already tired of it. But after more listening today, this thing is in dire need of an eq. Bass heavy, mids completely scooped, and treble too low. Just like I used to have my boombox set at. Nowadays, I appreciate those mids and like my treble glaringly bright.
With that said, I still think for $169 this is another Vid slam dunk must buy if you like it Lemmy style and louder than everything else.
Thanks again Vid.

The entire 1st floor of the Louisville Arcade Expo also sends their gratitude.

#110 6 years ago

Every time I hear dubstep I immediately think of that Key and Peele skit lol. I do like the Prodigy though. Let's see if the wife does...

#111 6 years ago

Well there went $169 over the deck railing. Fun while it lasted. She's stronger than I thought.

Haven't listened to that in forever. Thanks vid. Love that Til Tuesday song.

A NIB Soundstream TC-308 head for my 1987 911.

It was the equivalent of a high end Nakamichi cassette deck with the best radio reception of its time.

#114 6 years ago

Lots of cool stuff. Really, I am tempted by much of it. However after many years of carefully studying all of the stupid things I could buy, I remain convinced this is at the top of the list. I absolutely must have one of these some day. Nothing I have ever seen tops it.

Stupid thing I don't need:

I recently bought porn star Vanessa Del Rio's massive 12x12 16 lbs. autobiography.

^You can always sit it next to the 30/31/32 years of Stern pinball coffee table book whenever it materialises.

I just bought some old school skateboards and built them the way I had them as a kid growing up. Trying to relive my youth-stupid (;

I alway had freestyle bikes and half pipes in the back yard my dad built for me and my friends. My bike of choice was SE PK Ripper. That was in 1984! I went out last year and bought me a new SE Big Ripper! Did I need it...No, but I really wanted it! Road it twice and now she hangs on the wall next to the car I drive everyday!

Nice.

I am still trying to find a mint or restored Schwinn The Sting from 1979/1980.

#120 6 years ago

I'll just leave this here. Haven't bought one yet, but I heard they can be fun. They can be wired underneath furniture...

This thing changed my life and was under $10. Use it for pepper but package says it could do salt too. mmmmph

If it really does work reasonably, thats actually a pretty neat little gadget! I do the cooking and love fresh herbs and fresh cracked pepper blends, but my cheapo hand twist grinder kills the wrists.

Was that an Amazon purchase? Or more like a mall gadget shop item?

Amazon - battery pepper grinder with led light on bottom. Tastes fresh - red, green, white or black pepper. It's all good.

I have almost the exact same thing, received as a gift. It gets used a lot. Hasn't exactly changed my life, but made it a little nicer.

How much does a river of chocolate and a couple of oompa loompas cost in Canada?

For those long road trips picking up pins! Yes, I was a backer!

Prices are always higher in Canada, than America.

Quoted from Phat_Jay:

Just bought this tonight....speaking of stupid things

I have a 1 car garage where I park my custom wagon that I drive 3k a year, yet every waking second is spent vacillating and scouring Craigslist for a project fox body or wagoneer project. Neither of which I need, have room for, or can justify with any ounce of credibility other than I just need it for my soul.

#137 6 years ago
Quoted from rlslick:

why not make it 3 feet longer and run it out the window. Automated cars will not solve this problem soon enough.

How many of these people will try to do this while driving, get it jammed under the pedal, hands off the wheel on their junk, driving into the opposite lane and a bus full of old people.

Hose end looks like it could be repositioned to allow it to become world's biggest/fastest/most expensive portable toilet - capable of handling #1, #2. Easily modified by adding an elbow to hold tp. For the guy whose always on the go.

With salt they are a bit coarse for my taste as table salt but but great for cooking use.

Why do I want this magic card? It is a rare card called a "masterpiece". That is not the reason. Just a stupid fact. The sol ring card worth acouplebucks this version, who cares.

I wonder how many I will end up with?

It looks better in person. In my defense.

Just ordered these Jordan III retro re-releases.

Now if I can find some acid wash 501s in my size and a suitable neon skater/surf T-shirt I can be one of the coolest kids in 8th grade again!

I have been watching FPSRussia videos for years, lots of good stuff in there, but this faked one isn’t one of my favorites. It’s funny enough to watch, but I like the real stuff. The flamethrower video is great, among many others.

I love that skit also. Key and Peele at their peak are nothing short of brilliant. Continental Breakfast. Racist Zombies. I Said Bitch. Dueling Hats. Insult Comic. Substitute Teacher, brilliant. And if you haven’t seen East West College Bowl, that one is guaranteed to break you up.
