When you look at those tiny Blutooth speakers at Bestbuy for $200 and wonder who the fnck buys that crap....

How about a Ion Audio Road Warrior 500w classD Blutooth dual 10" kicker box with 12 hours of battery life for $169 ?

Now that's stupid.

It can also just be hooked up to your car stereo, or plug a mic into it like a PA system.

I'm happy with my "old school" wired speakers.

Sure, but if you needed a kicker box for your trunk anyway, or you wanted a Blutooth speaker for your garage, or wanted a PA speaker for your next clan gathering, this thing looks stupidly great in all the Youtube reviews.

It's not a replacement for the wired speakers on your home stereo.....

Bought a new HI-FI VCR 2 months ago. Used that night, haven't touched it since.

#7 2 years ago

any pinball topper would fall under this!

#8 2 years ago

Dammit man...you been reading my phone or somethin? I'm actually in the market for one of these for my garage system. Been looking at the $299 Sony XB60 but can't stand Best Buy so haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Cheap Chinese speakers on this I'm guessing, but for $169, you're not exactly expecting the Holiday Inn. My question is how do you power 500 watts with no amp?
Thanks for info O Wise One.

Spinn coffee maker:

It freshly grinds the beans and brews at the same time! Controlled from your phone!

Stupid. Don't Need. Will buy.

It has a 500w classD amp built in.

And a replaceable sealed lead acid battery ($14.99 @ any HomeDepot). It comes with a 20amp hour battery, but nothing is stopping you from replacing it with larger unit when it dies.

I hate to admit it, but I have a similar unit I bought in London.

Love it.

The world’s most expensive fixer upper on the Chesapeake Bay.

Whoops, too late...

#23 2 years ago

Well, being 500 watts and $130 less than the Sony I had to pony up. Will post review in here once I get it. Can't wait to slap my Supreme sticker on there....i just printed off 500 of them. Gracias big guy.
What would we do without ya pally? Stop spending money on stupid shit? Who wants to lead that boring ass life? Not this guy.

Still waiting on the Pioneer to come back at $299. Closest I can find is $365, and I just can't spend over 3 on an iPod.

#25 2 years ago

I have spent enough after reading Vid's threads so I'm just gonna live vicariously thru you Gryszzz. Its cheaper and the hangover is much easier on me.

The Presto one I "won" on the boardwalk in Atlantic City (playing Skee Ball and modified Bally 873 slots) in 1988 still works pretty good for me. Have to plug it into 115 VAC though.

Vid did you read about Glenn Tipton today? Sad to hear. Wonder if they're still gonna tour. Was pretty pumped to see them this summer.

#30 2 years ago

Ok so this is a Wal-Mart (fuck them) speaker but it's normally priced at $350. Yes it's a refurb but they throw in a 1 year warranty. As I sit here quite cozy in front of my almost uncomfortably warm $27 heater Vid recommended, playing my American Strat that I got for $700 (case is easily $100), also a Vidtip, I'm thinking this is a good deal too. So there's my review.

#31 2 years ago

Sweet looking speaker! I might be in the market for a replacement for something I can use in my truck. Currently have a nice Braven BRV-X. Very rugged and has lasted me a long time. Cons are battery doesn’t make it a full day and it sounds distorted at louder volumes.

Just bought UV LED strips to make my black light carpet in the game room glow. Totally unnecessary, but I had to do it.

Lol, my Hybrid water heater has WiFi...But, it was like $1500, on sale for $1000, but was like $600 at a Home Depot a state over for some reason....then my electric company had a $750 rebate....all said and done... Excellent deal and my electric bill dropped a bunch.

LMAO! Sure sign that manufacturers have figured out they can slap a $2.50 wifi chip in just about anything and charge 20% more.

Stupid thing I don’t need that I bought:
Amazon Echo Spot... i love that it basically looks like a high tech alarm clock... yeah thats pretty much it. Oh, and I can say “Computer.... Earl Grey, hot.” To which it replies “I’m sorry, the replicators are currently offline.”
