I've got a Frankie I'm cleaning up. I'm rebuilding the flippers, and I noticed that the flipper stops are the kind with the hole in the middle. I assume they made them that way to prevent the vacuum issue that occurs when the stop and plunger have lots of wear and kind of meld into each other. I also know they must have stopped doing it for some reason, presumably because the plunger gets that little nipple on the end. What is everyone's experience with using these "holed" flipper stops? I ask because I have a good half dozen of those, and I wanna use 'em up if I can.
