Pretty self-explanatory ... that screw ain't moving... might be loctited. Any ideas how to remove it and still salvage the post?

If the screw is just striped, could use a dremel with cutting wheel to make slot for a standard screwdriver.

Cut a slot across the screw head with a drimmel cutoff wheel like suggested above. Grab it between the threads and shoulder with vice grips. Hold it against a hot soldering iron for a minute and give it a try.

Would try a torch but heat should help.
