I was thinking for this mod from many time,but didn't have the free time to make it.
But now I have some free,so I did it.
Have some spare hands from DM,which were not in good condition,so they were impossible to be sell.
I painted them in white.Some may ask why white instead silver or black?
Because Enterprise is not battle ship(black colour),it's explorer and with peace.The deck if I can remember right was in white to or most of it's equipment.
Because didn't have the right tool to cut the wood from inside for the metal plates like DM,I decided to make individual holes and hide them with black tape paper.
My original bolts were missing too,so I bought new one and painted them in white too.
After put the hands was the easy part to connect the buttons.
Everythings is play fine,but I had a problem before.
When everything was connected there were and two Green-White wires that come from each hand and both were connected like DM-one to the tilt mechanism and one to the power switch box.
After power it on,all right solenoids and right gun motor moved very very slow when I put the lockdown bar.After removing the lockdown bar,everything was fine.So obviously there were something that make them to work hard.
The problem was these two wires.After removed them,everything now is ok.
Can someone explain me this?
