LMK when you find out, I'd like to add them to our STTNG.

dont see anything there for the up kickers.

What exactly where you looking for? i'm not being rude but the pics were rather generic and i thought you meant target decals as well. I'm not sure they are actually decals are they?, it looks like there is actually holes in those VUK's

#6 6 years ago

They are kind of hard to see.

They are actually on the sheet metal covers of the VUK's.

Looks much better than bare metal to me ( IMHO).

#7 6 years ago

Am also interested in these, please let me know if you happen to locate them

#8 6 years ago

Now I see them! I want a set if somebody finds them.
They look sweet, and much better than the metal ones.

I would contact Joe @ PinGraffix. He is a great guy and very helpful, I am sure he would help out doing a run. Good Luck!

#12 6 years ago

That's awesome, could do something like that with the correct measurements.

I would be in for a set of these! Big improvement. Thanks for posting!

#14 6 years ago

Not sure of a good way to take measurements due to the radius, but maybee I could get some stencils out to ya?

#15 6 years ago

Yeah! Or a scan just scan the side? Something like that

#16 6 years ago

I would order a set of these.

Just thought I chime in. I have been working with VUK decal designs for my own TNG for some time. I was not aware other people also wanted to do this. Should have my TNG skins finished soon. However, they are not space nebula's.

Would like to see what you come up with, hope you post into the sttng club thread. I do like the one's pictured at the start of this thread and i must admit i was fooled at the first viewing. They really did look like someone had taken a dremel tool to the VUK's plus paint work as well

They really do look great. Hope you guys work it out. I think they work well if you have the space side art. In my case I never put on my side art and went with stainless steel mirror so I wanted to do something different. However the space pattern makes it super easy to cut because you don't have to worry about alignment and registration so that kinda makes me want to re-consider lol.. Whenever I finish the decals for mine I will post some photos on my Star Trek Club thread.

BTW. I think the guy who made the side art is the same person who made the VUK decals. It is using the same art. I may be wrong? Anyhow his name is "joeraptor2003" but I think that is Joe from PinGraffix?

If you need these printed I am happy to do so as well. Not sure if you a printer, or if you take them to a print shop.

Thank you for alerting me about your update!

How much for a set?

#32 3 years ago

Can you sell just the backboard?

#33 3 years ago

I think the way to go will be to sell 2 ways. W/ and without the backboard. I'm gonna try and put some time into figuring out total costs tomorrow and then I can better estimate a cost. I'm pretty busy guy so doing what I can something to keep in mind here tho. I cut these from a large sheet... so 2 sets aren't exactly gonna look alike.. I'm not a graphics artist and I don't have super fancy equipment...

Hmm...does this mean I can't get the backboard only? Too bad. I'm Black Nickel plating the VUKs, so I definitely do not want to put decals over them.

Rather than 2 options, I would think the way to sell would be:
$X for the backboard, $Y for the VUKs, and $X + $Y - small discount for the full set.
