Williams, 1993So... I've been re-watching old TNG episodes and came up to "The Royale" from the second season and noticed that one of the characters in that episode is named "Steven Richey".
The episode debuted March 27, 1989.
The pinball machine, designed by Steve Ritchie, debuted November of 1993.
...I wonder what level of coincidence is going on here. ; )

See... I found it on the "interwebs" so, I know it's true. A time traveler has mistakenly published this early.
Stephen G. Richey
Colonel Stephen G. Richey was a 21st century member of the United States Air Force who served in NASA as the commanding officer of the explorer ship Charybdis which launched on July 23, 2037.
He arrived at Theta VIII in 2044. Here an artificial environment based on the novel Hotel Royale (which probably had been in the possession of one of the crew) had been created by an unknown alien entity. He lived out the rest of his life in room 727 of the Royale.
His remains and diary were found in 2365 by Commanders Will Riker and Data along with Lieutenant Worf. His diary contained only one entry which explained the situation.
