Recently the spinner on my STTNG pinball isn't registering. Doesn't work in switch test or during gameplay.
I also noticed that I am receiving a "left EOS" and "right EOS" message now as well as the spinner error
when I start up and check the error message reports.
I visually checked the EOS switches for disconnected wires etc but didn't see anything off.
I think all of these switches are not on the switch matrix.
Can anyone suggest where I should start looking to fix the issue based on this info?

Thanks
John

Yes I saw that in the manual.....its on the flipper ground switches column (outside of the usual 8x8 switch matrix)..
Still not sure where I should be looking for a problem other than the EOS switches mentioned?
Should I be looking at wires going to the optos if I didn't see anything off at the EOS switches?

Thanks

When I went in to the switch edge test, there was nothing shown as closed.
There were no messages or anything that any switch was activated etc.
I tried to close the switch on the playfield for the spinner and it didn't show closed on the edge test.
I did check the EOS wires at the EOS switch and they looked fine but maybe have to trace them back
further away from the switch to see if there is a break?

Thanks everyone for the comments.
I will try the above and leave comments.

Quoted from Bobinsky:

I had an issue with my spinner not registering about a year ago and took a long time to trace the wire to the problem. The wire disconnected at the flipper ground. I didn't notice since when the playfield was raised it looked connected. That was before I realized how some of these seemingly unrelated parts were connected.

Where was this flipper ground located that you referred to?

Thanks
John
