Star Trek: The Next Generation
Williams, 1993I'm working on the DMD/speker panel and the Star Trek logos need to be touched up. I want to repaint them but I'm not sure about the color to use. I'm also not sure what type of paint would be best (water or oil based).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I searched first but no luck.
I haven't painted STTNG grill, but I did paint my Time Fantasy grill when I was restoring it. (It isn't originally painted but I custom painted it) I used the same paints (water based latex acrylics semi gloss custom mixed to match original colors on cab. at LOWES) I used on the cab. and cleared over them with a latex spray on clear (Krylon I think). Not sure that the clear was necessary, as it is a durable paint for walls and such, just hit it with a couple coats to be sure. In the head of the game it shouldn't get much wear...
