It is not an animation but in 2016 I made a picture with some detailed testpoints.
In the same topic, post #11 a picture with measurements taken from GND.
Maybe, in some distant future, i will make an animation with the the logic state of the GI circuit. just maybe

It's not going to be an animation but I started to take measurements on the testrig with scope, probe and multimeter and made following graph:

What immediately stands out is that point "C" is always too LOW for a logic probe to give any valuable info. It is always LOW.
Point "A" and "B" give clear differences with logic probe, oscilloscope an DMM on brightness 1 and 8.
Also did test to trigger base of pre-driver without CPU by unplugging ribbon cable and with a jumper-wire + 1Kohm resistor. Works great.
