the buttons are pop-in/out style, if they're the originals. just wiggle back and forth a little like you would a connector. they'll snap right out. if they were replaced, they're probably twist style.

i bought a cointaker kit for my Sorcerer. i had a lot of extra bulbs. not a bad thing.

Quoted from pcprogrammer:

I sold my st pro and got a WOZ, then traded the woz for met pro and sttng.

good moves.

game is losing track of the balls somewhere. test all your switches.

#1406 7 years ago

they're technically switches.

another thing i'm starting to learn is use a ball to test switches, not your finger.

#1408 7 years ago

yeah, i wouldn't say i'm looking forward to it .

steve-o should have put an HS2 supercharger style feature on it for the warp theme. more optos plus magnets!

interesting. i always thought you wanted the ball to roll straight onto the flippers from the inlanes. in other words, somewhere in between the two.

i've heard "opto nightmare" from a few local guys i talk to. is this game really that bad? i'm pretty good with maintenance on my pins; borderline anal. that could be a bad thing, if i have to clean optos nonstop. am i going to regret getting one of these things, or have the issues been blown out of proportion a bit?

Quoted from bobukcat:

...I don't think it's much worse than any other game of the same era.

great way to put it. ty.

Quoted from GreenMachine19:

The camera makes it look really purple but it's not in person.

i agree: led's must be seen in person.

did you run out of white or something ? purple is such a weird choice.

nice price. wish you were closer. glwts. shouldn't last long.
