Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with what started out as an intermittent problem with the opto located on the right vertical upkicker that feeds the cannon. For some reason that opto would only work occasionally. I replaced the opto but that didn't solve the problem. Still was intermittent. Now it doesn't register at all on the switch test. My question is can someone tell me where those wires end up (connector) at the board? I'm thinking it may be a bad connection but I'm not great at reading schematics. Any other tips for trying to run the solution down would be great. Thanks in advance!

optic board under the PF.
might try un-plugging them and putting them back on, possible dirty connectors.

I did reseat the 5 connectors and I did notice the black capacitor is leaking. Not sure if this is causing this problem or not, but I know that's not a good thing. When I reseated everything and powered it on, I immediately went into switch test and moved the coil plunger up and it activated the opto. Then I loaded up the balls and the opto stopped working. So still intermittent.

This is a problem, the capacitor will need to be replaced.

I'm pulling the board to send it out for repairs.

Update: While my board is out for repairs, I borrowed a buddys opto board out of his junkyard and the optos work perfectly! Glad to know that the problem was in the board and I don't have to continue searching!
