Debating on ordering LED replacement bulbs or whole kit. Can all bulbs be accessed without significant disassembly ? I've read the subway does have to come off for a few bulbs ? Trying to figure out how deep and complicated this conversion would be.

This game has a lot of bulbs . If I were you I would by some nice white frosted leds in bulk . I highly recommend removing the light boards to add the leds because the ones that are the wedge styles are hard to remove and install and sometimes it will crack the solder On the pad and need reflowed if you put to much force . I use th is time when I shop these out to clean out the subways anyway because that diet will get all
I’ve the the game no matter how clean the top is . It really isn’t that hard just time consuming

It's changing some lightbulbs, it wouldn't be that difficult.
You're going to need a lit of 555 and 44s. You'll be unscrewing the 44 GI sockets from underneath and changing them that way.
Obviously you can buy in bulk white or count up how many you need. That might take longer than taking off a subway

I did the whole conversion, didnt need to take the subway off. Recommend non-ghosting LEDs or you will be dissapointed. Perhaps go with a full color non-ghosting led kit by a reputable company such as comet or cointaker.

A couple other options. You can get a ROM with the patch that removes ghosting. Or you can buy LED OCD which takes of ghosting and gives you a fade effect. Also GI OCD is an option. That's still on my to do list. I've just left incandescent bulbs in the shield inserts for now.

How long was the job if you don't mind be asking? Was it more difficult on this machine?
