sttng cannon motors..should I replace them?

^^^ yes, disassemble both cannons, clean all the shafts and the sleeves really well with alcohol so they spin freely when mated, do not re-grease them with anything, should help speed up the cannon.

If that does not do it then I think you can open and clean the gear boxes as well, should be past threads on these procedures.
