I just got a #ST:TNG and it's been awesome! I noticed one small quirk during my last game: After making the first shot in the Battle Simulation mode, the ball returned to the cannon and the cannon started to rotate as usual, but this time, the shot I was supposed to make (either the Neutral Zone or Borg/mode start hole) wasn't lit/flashing. Definitely not a bulb problem as both shots light up at other times. I used to play a different ST:TNG on location and I remember seeing this happen on occasion. Is this a bug or does something need to be adjusted?

Is the ball kicking up to the opposite cannon after you make the first shot? If not then check the diverter under the playfield and then check the opto on the left & right cannons.

I kinda thought the first shot was the NZ and then the second is the scoop, and then back to NZ.

I would also suggest that you go into switch test mode and see if your cannon wiring loom is failing. That’d be my first guess. Jiggle it a bit and if switches start closing then that’s the problem .
