Picked up a Strikes 'N Spares out of long-term basement storage and thought I’d give it a facelift after shopping it out.
Not for the pinball purest but this is a fun game and adds some variety to a game room. It’s basically a one trick pony but with its familiar 10 frame bowling rules and simplicity, it gets a fair amount of play. I’m not done with the conversion yet but I’m pretty happy with the results so far.
Two of the pictures show a sheet metal lift channel I designed as the original lift channels for this game are no longer available or produced. And my design is a significant improvement over the original anyway. Just need to paint it black. (Thank you, Longmont Sign Company)
That’s an inverted Glare Guard attached on top to house and shield the LED strip shining down to illuminate the top marquee. (Thank you, Comet Pinball)
