Is there a setting to turn off the ball cycling when the game is not getting played. It is really annoying. I went into the settings and didnt see anything .

I don't think it's supposed to do that.

The Gottlieb Strikes and spare. If the machine is on it will just start shooting the ball and cycling them through. Then after about five minutes or so it will do it again.

I wonder if that's an attract mode setting.

Does the game play normally when you start a game?

[edit]: Looks like clearing the stored game/bookeeping data might get rid of the issue: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/rec.games.pinball/mQSrgg0WzNs

Yes that suggested fix works.
It will happen again after 200 or so games.
Repeat the fix and you will be good.
Just a minor issue.
Great Drinking game by the way!

That fixed it. The game has been on for an hour and not reset. Thanks all
