I picked up a Strike Master and have it pretty much finished up except for the sound.
The first issue was no sound at all. I found that both speakers were out. I replaced the speakers and now I have some of the sounds. Instead of it saying "Strike Master" it only says "Strike". Sounds like I am only getting half the sounds that I should.

-I swapped a sound board out of Black Rose- Same issue
-Reseated sound chips
-swapped out MPU- Same issue

Not really sure where to take it from here. Any help is much appreciated.

could my sound roms/chips be bad?

I used newer stern speakers. my buddy upgraded his and gave them to me.

I did not try different ribbon cables. I'll try that tomorrow.

I did try swapping cup, did not help

I know this looks crazy with the clips...lol. I was just testing the speakers. they work, I'm just not getting all the call outs / speach as stated in first post

Game gives me 5 bongs. means u14 issue. but it's replaced. any ideas?

update. game says strike master only when I turn volume up or down. never in test.
listening to video clips on this game there would be more speach......correct?

RESOLVED

I reseated all new chips and ribbon cables.

perfect sound
